TRADED - coming soon!
My second feature as an L.A. editor, TRADED, will open June 10 in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Washington, D.C., and Kansas City. The film, written by Mark Esslinger and directed by Timothy Woodward, Jr., stars Michael Paré, Tom Sizemore, Trace Adkins, and Kris Kristofferson in his final film role.
TRADED, a western set in the 1880s, tells the story of former gunslinger Clay Travis (Paré) who has left his violent past behind for the life of a farmer. After the tragic death of his young son and his wife's slide into despair, Clay's teenage daughter Lily leaves home in search of employment, but soon finds herself in the hands of a vicious saloon owner (Sizemore) who plans to turn her into a prostitute. Clay straps on his iron once more and sets out to rescue his daughter by any means necessary. Along the way he encounters a ruthless Wichita strongman (Adkins) as well as a grizzled bartender (Kristofferson), who proves a worthy ally.
You can check out the trailer (which I also cut) here, and I hope you'll enjoy the film!
